To integrate conservation into local sustainable development.
The Wolf Trek Transylvania 2003 is an adventurous challenge for people, which would like to actively contribute to the conservation of one of the most spectacular areas in Europe. Up to 50 participants will explore the area around Piatra Craiului National Park for a week in search of large carnivores. Participants have to go on strenuous hikes, optional on foot, on horseback, or with mountain bikes. The Wolf Trek can be achieved only as a functioning team, but the stamina of every participant is crucial to the success.
