We have comprehensive experience in various methods of wildlife research techniques. Since 1994, we have trapped wolves, lynx and brown bears in the Carpathian Mountains and equipped them with radio-collars to monitor their way of life through telemetry. One of our radio-collared wolves became famous, after some TV teams could document the nocturnal excursions of this pack in search for food through the city of Brasov.
We have also experience in behavioural research, with Geographic Information Systems (GIS), in the field of wildlife monitoring (e.g. ungulate monitoring through pellet-counts), or in the field of economic research.
Through travel and being guests in various research stations we got to know wildlife research in many other countries - e.g. Canada, Poland, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, or the USA.

A focus on Wildlife Research
As we understand research, it should be the basis for further conservation measures. Consequently, research activities should be included into a larger frame to be able to use all advantages of research, from data and information gain all the way to increased attention for the conservation of the species."
